- College block is constructed in such a manner to accommodate all pre and Para clinical departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Social and Preventive Medicine, Forensic Medicine. All departments are provided with fully furnished Demonstration hall, Dissection hall, Lecture Halls, Well equipped Laboratory and Anatomy Dissection hall.
- The College also has a well equipped and updated Central library with internet facility (E-Consortium) which is a great boon for our students and faculties. Apart from these, the college has an auditorium with a capacity to 1000 seats and a spacious Examination hall. Well-equipped lecture halls (4x120,1x400) with smart class facility are also available in the college.
- This 12 year old Medical college is functioning with basic Clinical departments which includes General medicine, General surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Oto-rhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry to start with and at present operating with Super Specialty departments like Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology, Medical &Surgical Gastroenterology, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Radiation oncology, which will
help the needed people to get all type of specialist opinion without much difficulty making it a tertiary care centre with Multi Specialty approach. Apart from the main block, Cemonc building with Labour ward, Post Operative Ward, Operation Theatre and newborn unit provides entire maternal and child care.
- This institution has functional bed strength of 1274 with Annual Undergraduate admission of 100 seats. Our Emergency Trauma Care Centre runs 24/7 with fully furnished equipments and staff team. Our College has been sanctioned with 48 Post graduation seats in the following departments.
- MD General Medicine – 10 seats
- MS General Surgery – 10 seats
- MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology – 6 seats
- MD Anaesthesia – 8 seats.
- MD Paediatrics – 6 seats
- MS Ophthalmology – 3 seats
- MS Orthopaedics – 2 seats
- MD Emergency Medicine – 3 seats
- Our hospital boasts a very good Cemonc centre with around 30 to 40 deliveries a day. This centre is now upgraded as a centre of Excellence. We have a well established dialysis centre 25 dialysis machines running 3 cycles per machine per day. Our Hospital has well equipped Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS). Many poor people are getting the best treatment with the help of this scheme.
- We have Paramedical Diploma and certificate courses with annual intake of 175 students along with 8 Paramedical degree courses with annual intake of 134 students.
- Our College is having Eco club, Red ribbon club and NSS. Students are actively involved in all the above activities.
